Awesome one day read! I couldn't put this book down and I can't wait to read more by this author. So happy Apollycon is opening up so many new authors to me including the talented Kristen Callihan.

Thank you Sharon J for recommending this book to me. This was an incredible read. The fourth book of the Game On series did not disappoint. It was swoony, sexy, and had the slow burn romance factor. I really love the slow burn romances as we get to see how they fell in love. This story stars Finn and Chester. The story is about their relationship, which went from friends-to-roommates-to-lovers. Chester is a strong and feisty heroine. She is the type of heroine I love: snarky and fierce. Finn is the famous footballer player, who is the exact opposite of Chester. They did try hard to fight their feelings, but at the end they could not and I loved their relationship. It was full of humor as they had these banters and it was filled with angst. I can't wait to see what else Kristen Callihan has up her sleeves. Overall, an amazing read.

This is the first guy character who we weren't introduced to in the first book. Finn didn't go to school with the other guys, but he is a player on Dex's team. We did see some of Finn and Chess in Dex's book, because this book kind of takes place during the same time as Dex and Fiona.

While I enjoyed this book, I just didn't feel like I connected to the characters much. Chess kept trying not to grow I think was part of my issue. All the problems seemed to revolve around her stubbornness. Yet, I understand why she would want to protect herself, so I can't be too annoyed with her. I like how sassy and quirky she is which works with how charming Finn is.

Their relationship is slow going though. I am always happy when these things take time. Friends -> Roommates -> Lovers. I really liked it and I can't wait for book 5.

“You’re here because you’re my girl. Sex doesn’t change that fact.”
Throat burning, heart threatening to turn to mush, I can only look at him and sigh. “Finn, what am I going to do with you?”
His smile is an easy glide, but his eyes hold mine a beat too long. “Keep me. I’m pretty sure I’m good for no one else.”

I actually loved this story and would have given it 4 stars had it not been for the horrendous editing.

Oh Finn, how I completely fell for him. He is swoony. He is charming. He is sweet and yet alpha when required. He is everything you want in a book boyfriend.
Chess is sassy and feisty and fun and she made me laugh.

I loved them both together so much. I loved their banter, their chemistry and the way their relationship developed. It wasn't insta-love and I was actually pretty happy with that.

This story made me laugh, but also had some major feels and I loved every page of this book. I cannot wait to read more from Kristen. She is definitely becoming a one-click author for me.

*Swoon* I think Finn and Chess' book has been my favorite of the series; he is so good to her and I just eat that sh*t up!
