I can understand why this is regarded as a feminist text/lecture. There are some very quotable lines. It seems to run on a bit for me but as it was originally a lecture, I imagine it has a different feel in text form.

Uno splendido saggio sulla donna, sul romanzo e su come questi due elementi si sono intrecciati a partire da Shakespeare in avanti. Perchè una donna, senza denaro e senza una stanza a suo uso e consumo, non produrrà mai buona letteratura o, se ci riuscirà, lo farà con grandissimi sforzi. Virginia Woolf è una garanzia.

lindo, 5 estrelas facílimas. quero ler Jane Austen, as Brontë, Fanny Burney, George Elliot, Aphra Behn, Mary Carmichael, Marguerite Radclyffe Hall. leitura obrigatória para futuras escritoras, futuras Judith Shakespeare. quero reler e sublinhar cenas a rosa para abraçar com orgulho ou a azul para mostrar que podemos.
