The beginning of this book was slow and a little boring. It didn't get good until the last 40 pages of the book when you finally have a lot of your questions answered. The characterization is getting a little static too. Most of the characters don't grow or change and just stay the same. Still can't stand Mimi even though she's a huge part of it. Schuyler just seems indecisive and a little childish to play a heroine that needs to make decisions that will affect the while world. Jack is even worse he can't seem to make up his mind and figure out if he wants his sister or Schuyler. Oliver is just a push over and lets everyone get away with too much. Lawrence has lived to long and too set in his ways. Bliss is still the coolest character in the book but her new found plot twist which is not a surprise just throws everything into chaos. The war finally begins again in this book and the shit hits the fan. All-in-all it was ok. The plot was fun ut predictable.

I feel like these books always start really slow, after the first fifty or so pages they start getting better. The endings are always so awesome that I keep thinking about the next. I liked that there was more Dylan in this one.

As in the books before this had a lot of twists, who is good, who is bad, who is a little bit of both.

Amazing book, but the ending was very surprising specialy when she revealed the true nature of bliss it was shocking

I'm not sure if I like this series. The shifting perspectives, the lies, half truths, deceptions, and manipulations... It's sad. I cannot see this series having a happy ending.

From the other reviews I've read, this book was supposed to be the weakest. Some people seemed to think that there were more questions raised than answered, which I felt was partially true. But I don' think that this book was any stronger or weaker than its predecessors. I feel that we were given the same amount of mystery and answers maybe even more so in this than the others. for instance, we finally figure out who the Silver Blood was that attacked Schuyler and we figured out who the traitors were. In my opinion this book sort of sets up the reast of the story arch. An in-between book.

I have to commend her sort of on her love quadrangle she's got going on. Not something too common with YA novels today. Usually it's just been a trianlge, but she does handle it pretty well. I do like that even though Oliver had his moment of "choose" and drama that he doesn't forget that they are friends and ultimately decides to stick with her and help her.

On that note however, I am getting tired of every novel ending with Jack and Schuyler not being able to be together. But then the next novel starts and they are either still flirting or are secretly meeting. I am a fan of the "fobidden love / suddenly having feelings for someone that you couldn't stand before" but after that is realized I'm happy with people finally being together. I do somewhat know the overall events of the next novel, so I am keeping this to strictly this novel. But anyway, when authors have this back and forth going on to long it cheapens the feelings that the characters have. If they can say in one scene that they love each other and in another they choose to be with someone else, it makes the actions seem false. Which means when they finally are together will we be questioning if they are realting their true feelings or not?

This book does make me ready to read the next, but unlike some series where I cannot stop thinking about the events and keep on anticipating opening the cover and delving into the next book, I don't immediately need to read the next book in this series. I will of course eventually, but I can go and read other things before.

Revelations is the third installment within the Blue Bloods series. Yes, I'm still cringing over the whole jack and mimi thing. I just don't get it and don't see why everyone else is okay with it either. Then the whole adopting Schuyler was weirding me out too.

Besides all of that, I was basically confused for most of this book. Okay, for the entire thing. I have no idea what romantic shape I'm being shown anymore. Things just aren't adding up and I'm just not looking forward to next thing. Romantically that is. Unless it's about Bliss and Dylan conquering whatever the heck is going on within them.

Other than that, I have no idea what the next book will bring me. At this point, I'm just expecting to be even more confused about basically everything. Maybe I should make a drinking game out of it all?

i can't rate this book because this happens to be the 3rd book in the series and i have yet to not read the first and second one. basically i am really confused about everything in this book.
