This was basically just reading the movie but it was a lot of fun. Although I was slightly disappointed that it was a graphic novel of the movie adaptation and not the book, I still really enjoyed this for what it was. A fun and easy read of which I finished in about 20 minutes. I have a lot of love for this book series and the movie and reading this has made me want to read the series all over again. :')

A cute spy novel for elementary school age. Very quick pace and action packed. A great intro to the same series in novel form. Follows Alex after the death of his uncle, as he is recruited into a british spy agency.
Graphic: Gun violence and Violence
Moderate: Murder

This is the first graphic novel I have actually sat down and read, courtesy of the local library. I've read the book series and seen the film of Stormbreaker, so I thought I'd try the graphic novel. It is very loyal to the film, using the characters portrayed in the film to draw the pictures.
I really enjoyed this, I read it in one sitting. It was colourful and immediately dragged me into the story. I will definitely be reading more graphic novels in the future.

Stormbreaker never gets old! There’s always this familiar joy in reading your childhood favorite book.

I was really looking forward to adding this title to my k-5 library - unfortunately, it's a bit too (violently) graphic for most of the kids in my school, so I'll have to keep it in my own personal library. It's too bad, since the entire novel series is a huge hit, especially with 4-5 grade boys. That being said, I really enjoyed it, and just wish the 3-4 examples of excessively portrayed violence were left out (for my audience!)

If you've ever seen the movie Stormbreaker with Alex Pettyfer (sp?) and liked it then maybe you would like this graphic novel adaptation because it was basically exactly the same as the movie, which I personally didn't like. It was eh.
