This is a really good quick easy read and just perfect for if you have a spare hour. It is a pretty sweet but also steam friends to lovers/best friends sister romance the characters were really likable and the plot was good. This is a well written Novella and you won't want to put it down I didn't.

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is a very sweet friends to lovers book. Although Meredith and Cameron are friends, Cameron is Meredith's older brothers best friend. But they have been apart of each others lives for many, many years, both fighting attraction to the other until a catalyst brings the pair together whilst on vacation.

Meredith make the first move, however it is Cameron making sure that ta relations hip is what she really wants as he has always struggled to keep his hands to himself.

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

I typically enjoy this author's work, but this one was cheesy, the chemistry was off, and the writing just wasn't as good.

This was a good, quick read! The writing flowed well, I thought that Cameron and Meredith had great chemistry. There isn't a whole lot of story, but I liked what there was. Meredith finally decides to pursue Cameron, and it goes quickly from there. I liked them together, but it would have been nice to have an epilogue. This was a first for me from this author, but I would definitely read her again!

Shameless is a full story in a small and fulfilling package. With an equal balance between sexiness and plot, there is plenty to pull you into their dynamic—he the brother’s best friend and she the off-limits friend’s little sister—and involve you in the implosion of their feelings and the turning point of their decades-long friendship. It was a wonderful short story that had great sexual appeal and enough depth to the main characters for readers to really feel and grasp their connection. And because it’s Cherrie Lynn, I’ll always wish for more of her written word and, if anything, I could’ve read another two-hundred pages of this story and been just as blissfully entranced—if not more so.

**Received an early copy; this had no bearing on my opinions**
**Previously pubbed in the Some Like it Hot anthology**

Copy received via Netgalley for an honest review

This novella was originally published in the Some Like It Hot anthology a few years ago, and I don't know how I missed it, as I usually devour everything Ms Lynn writes at time of release.

This story starts with a bang and gets hotter and cuter and sweeter with every page.

I am a fan of the "brother's best friend is off limits" story, and Ms Lynn has given us it all in such a short story. Starts with steam, gives us emotions, and sends us on our merry way with a HEA that left me smiling.

Shameless is just what I needed after reading a string of crime books.

If you have a spare hour or so and what a hot, sexy read, give Shameless a go.

SHAMELESS is a brother's best friend, forbidden romance. It's a short novella that I believe was originally part of an anthology.

Meredith is on vacation with her brother and his girl, her best friend and Cameron, her brother's best friend. Both Cameron and Meredith have had unrequited feelings for each other but never thought to act on those. Until one night, Meri shamelessly overhears a couple having sex. She realizes she wants that with Cameron but does Meri have the courage to go after it?

I'll keep this short and sweet because given the length of the book, let's face it, there's not a whole lot of storyline here. But what you'll find in the seventy or so pages is a well written novella with charming characters and a plot that was surprisingly well developed. It's sexy, heartwarming and successfully gives us a glimpse into author Cherrie Lynn's artistry.

If you're looking for a saucy little tale to kill an hour or so, scoop this one up! Told from dual POVs with a hot ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

This is a novella for those of you who want an espresso shot of the brother’s best friend trope. Meredith gets a kick up the backside while on holiday with her brother and friends, including Cam, her brother’s best friend since childhood. After crushing on Cam for a long time, she makes her move, but will Cam be receptive?

Because it was so short, I didn’t get too invested in the story. Novellas can be a struggle because there’s not a lot of time to introduce the reader to new characters and develop their relationship. Luckily, for this one, while it did feel a bit rushed at times, I was glad that there was a long history between the two main characters, and that they’d had romantic feelings for each other for a lot of that time.

I personally had an issue that others might not. First of all, I was a bit icked out about Meredith wanting to get it on with Cam mere hours after she’s heard him with another woman. Especially when he doesn’t remember this woman’s name. To me, that’s pretty disrespectful, and it didn’t endear me to Cam at all. But then, for some context, I am personally someone who wants an emotional connection with someone before I progress to a physical connection; so when I read, while I do read books about reformed players, I prefer everything to happen before the book, and definitely not “on-screen”. I do appreciate that it was needed for this book, but the morning after scene was probably what tipped it over for me, especially with how quickly Meredith rushed into action.

That being said, the sexy scenes themselves were pretty sexy. I mean, hell yes for doing it on a balcony!

So yeah, if you’re looking for a quick win for your Goodreads challenge, here’s one for you.
