While I really enjoy this series I feel like it would be a disservice to other - better - books to rate it more than 3 stars? I don't know. I really do like it though!

What a finale to the first arc! Obviously I knew most of these "twists" were coming because of the show (though it did take longer there for them to unfold), but they're still really good, and there were some surprises too.
I still stand with Spencer as my favorite girl, though I wasn't as engaged with the Golden Orchid storyline, or honestly most of the girls' subplots in this, hence why my rating is lower. They just weren't as juicy or exciting for me. I did like stress building from Hanna's atrack, how everyone was worried about being next, plus this is the first time that they're all being more friendly and honest with each other, which took too long in my opinion, should've happened in book two.
Emily's plot was probably the most frustrating though. I love how her parents finally accept her, but the way she behaved towards Maya was absolutely awful for no reason. Who confesses their love, then the next day flirts and has an almost date with someone else??
I am interested in continuing the series, but I'm definitely gonna need a break from these girls and their drama lmao.

So exciting to actually have some resolution to the bad things that have been happening to the Liars. There are still several mysteries left in Rosewood, so things shouldn't get any less interesting from here on out, especially with the promise of a new adversary who may or may not be the real Ali this time. The books in this series consistently keep my interest, so I am happy to continue on until that changes.

I can never seem to get enough of pretty little liars. This series takes me to a whole new world of backstabbing, schemes and drama! Once I think I have things figured out ny thoughts are completely turned upside down. For me that makes a perfect book. These books are my secret little indulgence and I can't wait to have the whole series completed.
