Finally a romance where everyone is respectful and reconsiders how their actions may have affected other characters! Not one sided selfishness on the level of emotional abuse either. Plus it was a cute story and I would recommend.

A short and sweet story about first love between two teenage girls. Hina falls for Shiki when she first sees her. Insta love isn't my favorite but considering their ages and inexperience I totally get it. Hina tries to confess, but Shiki misunderstands and ends up inviting her to play basketball. Hina becomes the manager instead, allowing her to understand Shiki's love for basketball and making friends on the team. I especially loved that, how we had a little bit of story with Hina making other sapphic friends. I always love seeing more queer characters.
This is not a story focused on drama or conflict. It's realistic in the sense that the characters inexperienced with love and dating become confused or overwhelmed by unfamiliar situations but the problems are not dragged out because they communicate and move past it. Some of the art was a little confusing, like it moved too fast, and I was confused where a character was momentarily. Other than that, it's a sweet read with very cute characters and artwork.

The characters felt pretty one-dimensional, and the romantic scenes included non-consenual behavior, which is unfortunately so common in yuri. The pacing was also pretty inconsistent.

This is definitely not a masterpiece, but it was cute and fluffy. The cast of characters were super cute and the plot was semi-interesting. I wish it had been longer, but you know. Fast paced, insta love, perfect if you're looking for a quick wlw read.
