I had to start this one over twice because I put it down and picked it up so infrequently. I guess that may have been a hint that it wasn't really working for me. I like the basic concept but didn't care much for the "trial" which unfolds in the second half and a couple of the human characters were irritating as all heck. Beautiful artwork.

the body shaming and lesbians are hot themes were loud and cheap in this version of Wonder Woman. Two stars for art. Amazon Women deserve better than this.

A unique take on Wonder Woman that returns to the roots of her creator (for better and worse) and return to mythology. Not my favorite Earth One volume.

It was eh.
I love Wonder Woman. like a lot she has to be one of my favorite superheros. I started off reading and enjoying it and then it just tuned ehh. I'm not going to say that I hate it, since I didn't, but I'm not going to say that it was super awesome since it wasn't. It was just okay.

The only redeeming feature is the art, if you're a fan of ww or looking to get into wonder woman, do not read this and definitely don't start here. It's a terrible take on the character and the universe and even as a stand alone it's still not good.

I thought that was just right. Great art, good story. I didn't mind the changes to the origin. I thought it worked well. Easily the best Wonder Woman story I've read.
