The first two books in the series kept me focused & looking for more. As the series when on...it faded.

Divergent
This short book is about Tobias also known as four its his time to choose his faction , his story before he became dauntless and his journey from Abnegation as his family was and he was beated up and things were different and his choosing day came and he became dauntless and now he was called stiff and consistently bully him until mental training start and his four fear got him infamous name four and that's what make all the difference as now he challenge anyone who try to fight with him and bully him.

This story talk about Tobias also known as four In the story. His journey, his challenges his way to control himself for being a Dauntless, his way to journey to catch the train and jump from terrace ,his training, mental and physical challenges make it such a fun read to enjoy and its beautiful for everyone who reads this short story. His fear of heights, Confined space, his father and killed an innocent one that was his fear is about and that nicknamed him too by the name of four by Dauntless leaders.

This part tell us that Tobias Eaton is spending his time in dauntless quietly until his world turn upside down when a Factionless came with a message to him about something related to his past and he found out that his mother is alive and she predict that things are changing fast as Erudite want to control factions so they are putting loyal Erudite in Dauntless to manipulate them when time come he does believe her until he came to know more it and thats make the difference, he believes if things changes this fast he atleast have friends to rely upon and he send a message to his mother that he won't join now but maybe in future when time comes

This book is short part of story where Tobias also known as four came to know about the truth her mother warn about Erudite is about to attack Abnegation with help of Dauntless and Eric and few are involved in this and due to new rules to make people competitive friends turning into enemies and trying to kill there friends like Drew did to Tris also known as Beatrice , Four want to stop it with help of leaders but they didn't bother about it and same time he fall in love with Tris and now he want to save her and her family from getting died but control is not in his hand and he turned to traitor of dauntless to protect and survival of many is in there hands now.

The world is about to end and few humans saved it , built a wall with electronic application and divided humans as per capabilities Abnegation for politician and people who serve humanity, Amity for farming and healing, Candor for justice, Dauntless for army, and Erudite for businesses and Corporates and research, our protagonist who came from Abnegation background and choose Dauntless and her brother choose Erudite went ways and did there training and soon Tris aka Beatrice came to know that Erudite is about overpowered the Abnegation and want to dominate every faction with there controlling syrum but due to Tris and Four aka Tobias who are Divergents (Fit in all faction, control by none) take things in there hands and for that they have to release the Dauntless from the controlling syrum and the find the solution and take over Erudite leader and destroy her sinister plan. First part ends here.

This book is second in series of Divergent series as now Tris able to defeat the sinister plan but faction believers don't want change and Amity give help to rebel divergent and Factionless and Dauntless came together to win the war and they take step against Janine and win a war hard way loosing friends and new alliance but after winning they end the faction system and four mother Evelyn became new leader and they are going to help people behind the wall, and every faction got rights to do help and choose the path they want to take.

This book is story of Divergent who decided to cross the fencing wall and see what's out there behind walls , they are faught down by Factionless army to be stopped at one point but Four and Kris with calen and Peter with Christina crossed the path and soon they find second city and thinking of future when they came to know that all that glitters is not gold and they are been watched over surveillance is on them and Factionless and Amity is about to fight Evelyn and Johanna came face to face didn't know that unknown enemy is heading towards them, But Kris came back at the peak of the moment and saved the day sacrificed her life for the future generations of Chicago and she told loud and clear that Chicago is not lab rat one can experiment on. Now Four is leader and things burden his shoulder for tough decision.

Excellent series about Four but really wish it was longer.

I realized I was never going to finish this book series because it wasn't good, and after reading Marie Kondo's book about decluttering your life, I knew that spending time on the Divergent series would just be creating mental clutter. So here is the review of the first book, which I read several years ago, but never posted....

When I accidentally got sucked into watching the second half of the Divergent movie, I was inspired to read the books.  This was, unfortunately, not the best idea I've ever had.  Somehow the screenwriters managed to turn a vapid girl trapped in an illogical world into an exciting action adventure story.  Kudos to them.  Scenes that were emotional and exciting on film were awkwardly cringe-worthy on the page.  If I had a single electron for every time Tris "felt electricity" when she was close to Four I could power Manhattan for a week.  The world felt gritty and, well, at least plausible on screen - I never really accepted the whole society in the book.  Where are the adults?  Where are the old people?  Why are 18 year olds running things?  How do they get food?  It's like a child's perspective on what being a teen should be like, without actually dealing with any real issues.  It's almost like the book uses being Divergent as an excuse for having fewer emotions - but, really, if they are supposed to be more human, shouldn't they have more?  Shouldn't things bother Tris more than they do?  This book touches on a lot of serious themes, but I can't say I think they handled any of them well.  Too often the answer is violence or submission, neither of which have the lasting repercussions you would expect in a more realistic scenario.  Although my ebook has the entire series bundled together, I'm not sure when I'll get around to finishing it - I think my time could be much better spent reading something else.  

Amazing!! It was so cool to see things from Tobias/Four's point of view!!
