Wow wow wow Alexandria really hit it out of the park with this one! This book is definitely her best work yet. I mean the banter in this one is too notch. Like you will be laughing and smiling along as you read because their energy is infectious, it leaps off the page. Speaking of their energy, this book is hot af. The spice really delivers because Truly and Colin are so supportive and deeply care for one another. My man Colin?! A sap, so kind but teasing, so patient but assertive. Kenergy all around. Truly is such a brave soul trying to be vulnerable despite her fears. I just adore these two individually and for each other. Honorable mention to Lulu (give our girl a book!) and the podcasting scenes. Everyone absolutely needs to read this book asap, you are missing out if you don’t!

Upon laying my eyes on this cover, I knew that I would fall head over heels for this book. Truly, Madly, Deeply is a romantic comedy that simultaneously wraps you in a comforting hug with the sweet scenes and makes you fan your face with the steamy scenes. Truly St. James is the bi rep that put words to how I have been feeling for a majority of my life so I'm glad that my queer heart had the chance to love her. Colin McCrory's humungous heart makes me want to cry because he is always able to extend a caring hand to people, despite his family life and how it has affected him. I typically don't love texting within novels, but something about their banter and Truly making an ass of herself had me giggling and kicking my feet. The steamy scenes? Y'all.... I couldn't get enough. I mean, the desperation was everything!!! I can't. It was too good. At the beginning, I was a little frustrated with how Truly was handling her parent's separation (look in a mirror much?) but by the end of the book, I understood how it was important to her growth as an individual and a partner in her romantic relationships. Overall, this book is a gorgeous work of art that can be cherished. I hold it close to my heart. Embrace every detail of your person that makes you perfectly messy and wonderful. This is a book of healing (whether or not you think you need it) that everyone can benefit from.
