I've read this series twice in 1 month. This is honestly the best YA, fantasy romance book I have read ever. Don't hate me for this but....way better than ACOTAR and TOG. I recommend it for people who love fantasy books with enemies to lovers. But I will warn you after reading this series you will want more and you might be obsessed with the characters. Enemies to lovers, fantasy, curses, betrayal, plot twists. I won't spoil the book but the ending of The Wicked King was amazing.

Jude is a really strong female character. And Cardan is just amazingly annoying.

I recommend the series. Definitely worth the time.

i didn't know what to expect going into this series, as dark-haired-morally-grey-elf-prince romances are just about a dime a dozen now.

i /adored/ this series. i loved how it was written, and the way the world was built and so incredibly unique. the tie to the modern world made this a beautiful mix of contemporary and fantasy. i really want to find more books in this crossover genre.

overall, blew my expectations out of the water and is now one of my favorite fantasy series.

You know what. With the first book I was thinking, oh here we go, another YA generic fantasy story. But actually I got pretty hooked and couldn't put it down until I finished the whole trilogy. High 3 star rather than a solid 4.
