The protagonist is a certified yearner and romantic but also not very observant because how did he not clock that Guido was a woman and that Aurelie is not noble. Not gonna lie I was sensing chemistry between Guido and Leonhard so that was a real ‘ohhh moment’ for me. The ending was kind of absurd with all those revelations but in a way that I enjoyed.

Am Anfang unsicher, wohin das Buch führen soll, klärt das Ende eine sehr schöne Geschichte auf.

You can definitely see the literary style within which this novel was written in the storyline and I enjoyed it fine but it was nothing outstanding to me.
