Wtf did I just read?!?!
Young sheltered teenage girl, who’s momma hasn’t even told her what a period is… walks in on a teacher jerking off in a classroom and he forces her to watch him… then he gets fired and everyone blames the girl… new teacher arrives the next school year and he walks in on her in the locker room showers and they proceed to have a relationship?!??
Hard pass on pedophilia! We are talking 15/16 and at least 35… I have no problems with age gap books, but with consenting adults - not sheltered children!!!
And this was the prequel to a series?! I will not be reading that series…

This is going to be GOOD!!
What a great prequel to what I already know will be a fantastic story!!
A Tale of Treachery comes out August 3rd, 2022 and I can’t wait another minute!!
This is a forbidden, taboo romance. There’s an age-gap factor, a taboo factor, and there’s lots of angst. I was drawn in immediately from the first sentence. I can’t wait to read more of Jayden & Miles!! Bring it on!!

Tantalising glimpse at intriguing characters who look to have a fascinating tale to tell. I’m looking forward to the next book!
