The five senses thing didn’t really come together for me on the first reading.

Such fun illustrations, and the five senses theme is very subtle!

Not good of storytime but interesting

Not only bossy, but kind of legit scary. Although I do like the mirror-image illustrations, they are a bit out of place in a picture book for preschoolers.

I am torn on this book. The illustrations and story are very unique. However, some of the images are very scary. I would be careful who I would read this to.

Interesting, book talks to reader, illustrations are unique, could be a great one to talk about genres.

This book is a very creative way to introduce genres to children. The narrator (the book itself) is scared of page turns, because of what might be lurking on the next page: a ghost story, a mystery, a space story, nature and its beasts, adventure with sharks. A fun book to read aloud as it encourages reader interaction.
