This is a re-read. I give this book a 4.5. Blue Pills is well written and wonderfully drawn.

It's very moving and the artwork dark and messy and intriguing...just like the story so they work together perfectly.

ENG175 Narrative Medicine - Book 9
Confusing at first, but ended up being a sweet romance and an important story to destigmatize HIV. Also used in my immortality essay (A)!

Can be read in a couple of hours, but will stay with you for long after. The style of art is sparse, black and white. I love how the book focuses primarily on the now, has a shadow of the future, and almost never dwells in the past. Every time questions or doubts arise about the past or the future, it quickly swings back to what is really important: here and now. That's where happiness lies.
