Just a wholesome manga about a nurse helping monster-girls deal with the growing pains of puberty and coming to terms with their different bodies. In this volume there is a long-tongued girl embarrassed by her tongue, an undead girl whose body falls apart regularly, a giant girl going through a growth spurt, a tiny girl going through a shrinking spurt, and an invisible girl who can't control her visibility. It's pretty interesting to see what types of growing pains these kids go through due to their physiology. Kinda reminds me of young mutants in the Marvel Universe. Unfortunately, this manga is just way too simple for me. It's cute and wholesome, and it did put a smile on my face at times, but there isn't much substance past that. The humor is okay, but rarely clever - more cute than funny. The structure is mostly episodic, but we do eventually meet Hitomi's dad and her potential love interest, which could mean there there will be some semblance of a long-term plot. Unfortunately I think I'm gonna drop this series here as it's just not doing much for me. I think for a lot of people, this is the exact type of feel-good manga they're seeking, and if any of what I've said appeals to you then I think I would recommend it. But for my own tastes, I just need a little more.
