In this adorable book a sleepy bear is kept awake by friends, because it is almost Christmas! And you don’t sleep during that time!

I was looking around for a superadorable Christmas book to read and came across this one! I was curious if they, and then especially a winter sleep sleepy bear, would be able to stay up!

Meet bear, he is having a great winter sleep, but then BOOM, there are his friends. Waking him up and telling him he has to stay up all night, because it is Christmas! One cannot sleep on Christmas/Christmas eve, oh no!! I felt for the poor bear. I mean, he was pretty excited after a while, but in the beginning he was just so snoozy and sleepy and I just wanted to give him a hug and tell him to sleep! We see how his friends try to make the cave more Christmassy. With popcorn and leaves and a tiny adorable tree. There is a cute fire and stories and hugs. It was just warming my heart. Despite being so tired the bear stays up and participates in many of the events and I just loved that he did this for his friends.

But the cutest thing is in the later parts of the book. I don’t want to give away much, but I just went awww so much. I loved what bear did, and I loved seeing that person pop by as well!

The ending was just the cutest, that was just so sweet of them to give the bear that. I was already wondering if they would let him do that again. XD

The illustrations were just the cutest thing and they really made the story even more warm and fluffy. I loved the way the animals were drawn, really capturing their personalities.

All in all, in the need for something cute this Christmas? Be sure to check this one out!

All the characters are there, as well as rhymes and a refrain. I may share this one at home and see what Baby thinks when the characters he loves so much appear in another book.

I liked this book a lot. It is a great book to read around Christmas time because it is about Christmas! It teaches about friendship as all of the Bear books do. I would recommend this book to anyone.
