Gwen is a real estate agent who recently lost her job in Boston, so has moved to be near her twin sister Sterling and her girlfriend. She is living in Stirling’s van, as with no job she can’t afford anything better. Gwen now wants to get her own real estate and staging company going, and Stirling sets her up with a customer, to help clear a house and prepare it for sale.
Lacey is preparing to sell her recently deceased grandfather’s house, but with all her family breathing down her neck, clamoring for their part of the inheritance, but not willing to help at all. This makes Lacey ultra stressed, until she employs Gwen to do a lot of the work which eases her struggles somewhat.
Over the time these two are working at the house together, they get to know each other, and finally admit their mutual attraction.
This is a lovely warm story, really a novella as it’s not long, but a good evening read.
