Shooting Stars is a beautifully sexy story of meeting the person that becomes your everything in the most unexpected place and following your dreams.

Jason "Jase" and Emilia "Em" have been best friends since they met in a foster home in a small town in Kansas where they made a pact that they would stick together and make something big of themselves. On Em's eighteenth birthday, Jase and her head to New York City to start their journey towards their dreams. Years later they have achieved their dreams and more. When their foster parents pass away and they head back to where everything began for them, their relationship goes from best friends to lovers. As they move forward in their relationship, an unexpected surprise from the past comes to try and ruin their newfound happiness.

Jase and Em were so much fun together and once they crossed the line they had drawn into a romantic relationship it was smoking hot. There were some nice twists and turns in the story. The side characters led to some good introductions to what is to come in the new romantic suspense series. A great introduction to Lissanne Jones' new adventure into the romantic suspense genre.
