I did like this more than their first book. But I still don’t understand why the first book was so long, they could’ve cut it half, added this one and it would’ve made a good book overall.
The FMC really annoyed me in the first half of this, it made absolutely no sense for her to push so insanely towards a wedding she didn’t want. And while they enjoyed the planned wedding in the book, I’m still not fully convinced that that’s true to their characters.

I absolutely loved this continuation of Neanderthal Seeks Human. Penny has such a way with making you fall in love with her characters that you never want their story to end. It’s not only the main characters that make you love them, but secondary characters as well. I don’t think I have ever read a book by Penny that I didn’t love. She fleshes out her characters and makes the plot on that you never want to leave.

Missed the charm and plot pull of the other books.

Loved this book, Quinn and Janie... YAY!! The las vegas bachelette was hilarious.
This story focuses on the development of Janie and Quinn's relationship.
We meet Quinn's family in Boston. Quinn's parents are amazing and the way they understand and accept Janie is so sweet.
Hints at Dan and Kat, very sad.

This was the perfect sequel to Neanderthal Seeks Human. It had all the answers, explanations, and the happy beginning of Quinn and Janie's future.
