This series is really super cute, and quite addicting.
Only recommendation: read book 2 (Friends Without Benefits) before this. I figured since it says 1.5 it would be better, but it tells a bit of the second couple's story first, and I think I would've preferred to read it from their perspective first.
But seriously, this is one of the most enjoyable and funny contemporaries I've read in awhile.

I enjoyed this so much more than the first book with Janie and Quinn. Maybe because they don't have to try quite so hard to be quirky and attractive. And I loved all the secondary characters. They keep me coming back for more.

I got it because I wanted the rest of their story. But will probably not continue the series. I don't particularly care about the other girls. *shrugs*

I enjoyed this book, but really felt like a lot of the major plot points in it should've been included in the very first book—more details about Quinn's business, his relationship with his parents, Janie's relationship with her dad—and I feel like if a reader just read the first book without reading this followup, they're missing quite a lot about their relationship.

And I think this book gives us hints about how good Penny Reid can be at writing sex, but she doesn't really flex that muscle to its max until her later books (ie, the Winston Brother books).

So filled with Janie-Quinn fluff and I'm living for it. How is it possible that I love them even more than I did with the previous book?? I'm glad that we got to see the story through Quinn's eyes because his love for Janie was so swoon-worthy. I also liked the stuff with the families of the couple and how Janie finally found a family with Quinn's, who welcomed her with open arms.

PS. Does Shelly just not go to the wedding??

This was so funny. Omg. Vegas. I cannot remember when I've bellylaughed so much at a book. Also the proposal scene was hilarious. Still don't like Quinn so much but a bit better after this book.
