Didn’t expect this one to Be this long but it was good closure

I loved the wisdom and family warmth in this book—though most of it was actually earned by the first book. Cried my way through the ending, as if I was at a real wedding.

It was lovely to read about Quinn and Janie getting married and everything that lead to that moment.

I loved this book, I really did. It had me chuckling, it had me sighing. It was so romantic. I loved Quinn's POV and no matter what came out of Janie's mouth he just loved her more. I'd be even happier if there was more from his POV. This would get 5 lovely stars from me if it weren't for the unfortunate scene where Quinn asks Janie to never mention her period to him. Yeah that got me mad at him. But otherwise he's so perfect and I adore Janie. They're perfect together.

I’ve read a couple highly unfavorable reviews of this Neanderthal series and while I acknowledge the veracity of some of the criticism, I simply don’t care. I just loved the story. I loved it.

I only had one big complaint when Janie and Quinn were negotiating their future and that was when Quinn said he didn’t want to ever discuss her menstrual cycle. Ever. To me, that’s a big red flag about a man. But THAT was my only peeve.

Otherwise, I am not sure I’d ever get tired of hearing of their life together.

I hated the premise of this book. Why would someone so worried about social responsibility waste money on a wedding neither of them want?

3.5, I guess. While I really enjoyed this, it would've been better as an actual novella instead of a full-length 400-page novel.

It’s fine, but I never really got fully invested in Janie and Quinn. Janie was at least a little interesting, but Quinn was just too controlling for me taste. My favorite scenes were when all of the supporting characters were there and I think I’ll like all of their stories more.
