Motherfucking perfection. This was essentially just character development, and I was totally ok with that. *Happy sigh*

I love Janie so much! She is my favorite contemporary heroine. She is logical, funny, super smart and devoid of heavy drama. If she were real I'd want to be her friend. She is a kindred spirit. Some parts of her reminds me of a friend too. Love how she and Quinn talk to each other. Enjoyed this book a lot.

Really enjoyed this follow-up, even more so than the first book.

Oh how I have missed you Janie!! ANd Quin!!! Elizabeth, Nico, Sandra, Ashley, Kat, Dan and this wonderful world Penny Reid has created <3

The Knitting in the City became one of the top favourite series of mine in 2014!! I wasn't able to get this edition then (because the kindle edition was too costly, and I was too broke :P), but I am finally glad that I did!

Because honestly, even though this is a supposed t be novella, it was full of details enough for it feel like a full length novel!

And the terms of marriage between Janie and Quinn? Oh those were perfect! I had always thought, theirs was a story with a lot left unsaid. Just goes to show, that just because they love each other, doesn't mean it's happily ever after! Happily Ever after comes when you work for it.

Nico and Quinn together. I am not ashamed to admit I was drooling and squealing and just basically Fangirling!

Let's not forget, Dan and Kat. I knew there was something there!! Now I can't wait for Kat's book to come out, because we know there's more to her than meets the eye!

Now, if only I could find a guy who gets as excited as quinn, when I sprout quotes and facts from books, My life would be complete.

In the continuity of the first book: so a stereotypic romance story that's really enjoyable to read if that's what you are searching for.
I would recommend to read the first volume before this one, as it's the same characters' story.

The story takes place at the same time as the volume 2 of the serie.

Not much more to say on Quinn and Janie other than I loved every minute more I got of this couple. They really make me smile. I also got some answers to questions I've had for awhile (I read the Winston Bros first, so I'm a little out of order on knowing some information)

Also, Quinn's dad is a gift and I love him with all my heart. LOVE HIM. Rereading this made me appreciate him so much more and I of course cried with any of his interactions with Janie. He is the best.

It's fun. It's entertaining. You want more of this couple, it's a must read.
