I think this is the only novella I've ever read that was worth reading.

I enjoyed reading the book and I think it's a good course of action for Janie and Quinn. There were some things left out of the story and I would have liked to know a resolution for them, but I don't exclude the possibility of finding them throughout the series. Also, there are some things which didn't exactly made sense for me...
It wasn't as exciting as the first book, but I still liked it.
Spoiler
For example, Quinn ex-slump almost called Janie a jerk and then agreed to help her wholeheartedly with her wedding dress. Her actions were not precisely constant... Then, there's also the fact that Quinn mentioned something about his private clients and the information he had on them not being handed over to the police all the time, but also to other bad guys. This fact remains a mystery, because Janie has the overall impression at the end that he's a completely good guy. I'm not saying that he isn't, but he's also a bit of a martyr...It wasn't as exciting as the first book, but I still liked it.

I had forgotten how much I loved Janie and Quinn. Janie is the most fun person ever. And Quinn and his crabbiness is hysterical. I love the way he understands Janie and how he has learned how to read her. The two of them are so good together.
The whole trip to Vegas has me laughing out loud. I could see Quinn and the others walking into the Elvis chapel and all the craziness going on. Poor Stan and Dan. But I love that Nico totally took advantage to get his way.
I am so glad that I walked backed into this series. I love Penny Reid and her wonderfully quirky characters.

This book is a sequel to Neanderthal Seeks Human. I loved Quinn desperately trying to ask and get Janie to marry him. I felt at times that Janie's "testing" or "collecting data" wore on tedious. But the story is still a fun journey of these characters getting to the alter.

This wasn't BAD, but if I would recommend a book to someone else, it earns at least 3 stars, and I think this could be skipped. I looked forward to the alternating POV, but if anything it just made Quinn seem like a caveman and he came off as more controlling than appealing. Plus, I get that Janie's vast knowledge of random trivia is her thing, but my god does it get old.

Penny Reid is awesome
This book made my heart happy. I loved it. Janie and Quinn loved passionately and made me fall in love with them all over again. I enjoyed the Quinn chapters.

I think Janie is my favourite romance heroine of all time. She's weird and she rocks it. I love her, I love her factoids, and I love her inability to function around Quinn and his McHotpants. And I especially love that though this is #1.5 in the series it was a full length novel, with all the (knitting group) girls AND Nico too!
My only kvetch... there were a few glaring word mix-up errors (where the words were out of order in a sentence) and in the eBook format I did not always get to see the full phone screenshot pages (which were a fun addition).
