This book was the second book in the incredible Dynasty series. It continues right where Dynasty: Discovered left off. Just like the first one I was enthralled immediately and did not want to put it down. I loved finding out more about how the Dynasty works and going through everyday life with Kat. I already knew I loved all the characters and this book just sealed that. I want to be friends with these people and I wish I could jump into this book and live there with them. You get to know everyone so well and even with so many characters, you know who everyone is and understand why and how they react to things. You feel what they feel and you become attached to them. I absolutely love it! The concept that Ashley has created for this series captures you and you cannot help wanting more. Not only is the story so interesting, but the romance and action is perfect. Shane is so swoonworthy and I love every moment we get of him and Kat together. The friendships are raw and real and I cannot say enough about how in love I am with this series and it's characters. There were moments of sadness, angst and complete shock. That ending might ruin me until I can get the next book! This series is just getting started and I need more!

Ashley, Ashley, ASHLEY.
I want my heart back. You've broke it too many times with this book that I demand a refund (I only accept refunds in the form of more books). That was a ROLLERCOASTER of emotions!! My poor Shane, I need Checkmate so badly!! Your writing is incredible and you've had me hooked from Discovered!! I cannot wait for what comes next, but that cliffhanger.. OAFT!! I need more!!!

This book was outstanding! I am in shock right now after reading the last chapter in this book. It was great seeing Kat grow into such a strong person and trying her best to cope with everything she has been through and trying to move forward. I really liked seeing Kat and Shane grow together as a couple as well and even when things got rough they were able to push through it. The writing was fantastic and the plot was great! I really like that this series has humor, drama, action and romance in it. I knew this book was going to be great, but I'm still shocked by how great Ashley is at writing! I am so glad I found out about this series because it is amazing! I can't wait to read the next one and find out what happens next! That ending crushed me, it got my heart racing for sure! Overall I would give this 5 stars!

Pursuit is the second installment of the Dynasty Series and jumps right back into the storyline. I found myself rooting for Katryn and Shane as they faced some relationship challenges. I liked the growth in Kat as her relationships continued to build and grow with her friends, brothers, guards and, of course, Shane. Honestly, I love so many of the characters in this series. Pursuit is full of action, drama, suspense, love and a big cliffhanger ending. I am invested in these characters and this storyline, and I need to know what happens next!
