Again an undemanding fun thriller/fantasy that doesn't challenge one's brain.

I really like this world and the mysteries. Sometimes things are pretty obvious and seem to escape Libby. However for the most part it is well constructed and nicely plotted.

I am not for the romance elements with Will. After what he pulled in the last book I would be done with him. I guess Libby is kinder than I.

The Janson angle still has me in a quandary. He seems suspicious but maybe that is me reading into things. Libby is a magnet for hinky fellas!

Really enjoy this world and eager to see what is next. This book was a little graphic at times and had me squeamish. I was especially bothered by how this books killer treated his victims. Mostly women and kids. Very disturbing.

Great narration on the audiobooks. I am warming to this narration style where the male dialogue is read by a separate narrator. It was strange at first but as I binge the series it gets less jarring.

What’s not to love?

Strong female character, murder, intrigue, a fantastic world filled with problems that feels real- BR Kingsolver is amazing. I’ve loved everything I’ve read of hers.

A bit terrifying

When I read I "see" the story play out in my mind. This author has a superbly detailed masterpiece series that hooks readers in. The graphic scenes didn't go into too much detail, but they went into enough to make readers feel like they were Libby seeing and reacting to the scene. I absolutely love this series. Also, squee of excitement at the ending.

This book is full of gore, torture and abnauxios murder and horrific details.
Unlike the rest of the series, I would have skipped this one due to the descriptions of the horrors of the murderer.

I give it 4 stars because I knew who the culprit was.

This book is really good. I can't hardly wait for #4.
