Starlight is such a beautiful story that it pained me to see it unfinished. Richard Wagamese gives us such deeply flawed and real characters that we grow to love, while also painting pictures of places so beautiful and serene you can picture them effortlessly. The story is so well told, that although it was never completed, it is easy to imagine the direction it would have taken and how the ending would unfold.

I highly recommend any and all books by Richard Wagamese, and Starlight is no exception.

i absolutely loved this story. Super romantic and so many great characters. The ending is of course really frustrating as it doesn't have an ending as Richard Wagamese died before he could finish it. They give you a possible ending from people that knew the author well and that's pretty satisfying.

Before I read this, I didn’t know Wagamese died before finishing it, nor did I know this was a continuation of Medicine Walk (which I haven’t read yet). Nevertheless, it’s a good story. I do prefer Wagamese’s non-fiction though.
