Hadn't read his other stories, but I liked this one. There were some vivid plot lines that were beautifully told

Paint by numbers

I mean it is what it is at this point. With each of these books you get the same thing. Author covers Harvath's shape and good looks, the team and they sense of humor (sarcastic and flipping each other off at every opportunity) and a section of story that doesn't really involve the main plot and again same "humor". The plot is interesting I just wish the characters had (any) depth.

One of the best Scot Harvath books. This time it's China with its project called The Snow Dragon embedded in America ready for different type of warfare.

The most well written, well researched and simply addictive espionage book I have ever read. Love Brad Thor's writing. Scot Harvath is one of the most realistic characters I had the pleasure to read about.

This book also happens to be the first Brad Thor book I have ever read. And it didn't feel out of place. So, you can read it as a stand alone.

It is for a more mature audience but I think older teens can read it. I read it when I was 17. So...

Another winner by Brad Thor, something I read and believe it could happen. China has committed an act of war, but has tried to cover up their involvement.

The Chinese are planning something, and nations from North Korea to the United Arab Emirates know a bit about what it is. Naturally, the Americans are the last to know and the first to be severely affected. So risky are the missions Scot Harvath takes in this book that, if caught, any of his actions signal an act of war on the part of the United States.

There are several subplots happening concurrently, and you’ll be equally enthralled by them. A group in North Korea seeks to learn why Chinese soldiers are conducting armed occupations of what look to be U.S. rural communities built in an isolated portion of North Korea. When the malnourished North Korean boy stumbles onto the small U.S. security detachment sent to discover what the Chinese are up to, his presence more-than complicates the lives of the Americans, some of whom want him dead.

Whatever the Chinese are planning will happen on or around September 11. By using that date, Chinese officials hope to slide blame from them to terror groups in the Middle East. It will require every personal and professional resource at his command for Harvath to unravel the murky shadowy plot and prevent the death of tens of millions of Americans.

Another fun exciting adventure with Scot Harvath who seems to have no conscience when it comes to the bad guys!
