Super cute! I wonder if it will get creepy?

This premise (and this relationship) is definitely straight up soap opera levels. But it was fun to read, and I’m definitely curious to see where it goes from here...

def a classic trope. there is thousands of jousei manga with plotline similar to this, yet Maki Enjouji's execution in this manga was ⭐⭐⭐⭐

BUT

um ok so in an essence, this was a girl that is neck deep with debt caused by her hopeless father and survived by a young, rich, talented CEO in the company she worked for (how convenient!) by a forced marriage.

Feminism who???? but anyway, as the story progresses, the lead female begin to have a sense of agency and shows the lead male that she actually has brain cells and she could actually help him conquer the world. Ah, yes, how revolutionary ✨ despite the amount of smut scenes in this book, the way this book touches on the reality of marriage life and the sad part of it (the juxtaposition of it's title) is quite amazing...

I think so far this has proven it's capability of being overdramatic and redundant and actually being honest and truthful to the genre and actually teaches people that happy marriage is not always possible. and to attain that a lot of things must be sacrificed. wow, that was a mouthful.

This made my inner feminist weep salty tears. I had such high expectations but the H was an insufferable douche knuckle who made me want to bitchslap him six ways to Sunday and the h was a spineless twit the whole time, ugh.

I didn't remember but I had read the first two chapters of this somewhere. I decided to buy this today and I really enjoyed it. I'm interested to see how the protagonists relationship will develop. It does sort of remind me of Butterflies, Flowers with the boss of the girl formerly being the servant except this time it was another family member. I liked Butterflies, Flowers but as of now I haven't finished it. I liked this volume. Didn't really love it but it was nice.

The beginning was real funny, it made me laugh out loud. But the hardships are coming!
