A lot of backstory with this volume! Love that Winry got her moment and delivered a baby! Really loved meeting Izumi and Sig. But dang, it was heartbreaking to see how disappointed Izumi was that Ed had learned "the truth." In the ensuing chapters where we learn the whole backstory and how tragic Ed and Al's journey has been.
Side note: I tend to be more enamored with Arakawa's storytelling, rather than her art. But every once in a while she'll throw in some panels that just blow me away. Loved the page where Ed was taking his licencing exam and created the spear. Really great panels!
Onto volume 5!

I literally watch this show on repeat. I’ve reread this series more then I can count. It’s a crutch at this point.

Izumi contains to be amazing. The brothers' backstory is done well and creates a lot of sympathy for them. Also the foreshadowing is phenomenal.
