This is probably my favorite volume so far. The Grand Bout was great. The fights are intense but super silly as well. Chrome is actually super despite looking and acting like an idiot. The ending of this volume is also brilliant as we learn many things about this stone world and the village itself. Senku is hilarious as always. Inagaki never fails to make you laugh in every chapter. After finally learning some important things (which I'm not going to spoil), I am very curious about what happens next.

Grand Bout, Sulfa Drugs, Origins of Ishigami Village

Another great volume of Dr. Stone and I'm reviewing what I remember of the anime to compare to the manga. There are definitely bits that are added- I noticed we don't get as much connection initially to all the members of the ISS like we do in the show. In fact, we don't even get Connie or the Russian woman's name.
Again, nice to see Senku and his dad's relationship. Senku doesn't show emotion too readily, but he must be so proud of his Pops. It's heartwarming, no matter how many times I see that bit where he smiles in underwater while trying to swim with Senku's body suit creation.
