'Its only 60 pages and its a comic, this'll be a quick read!' And then i remembered that i was reading it because my French is not very good and i'm trying to improve it haha

So not quick. And a fair bit of google translate to confirm my understanding or completely undo it :)

I remember reading many of these (in english) as a kid for library summer reading challenges but perhaps not this one. Didnt realise that it wasnt a self contained story and the resolution is presumably in the next volume (which i think i did actually read?).

None of this is actually a review yet. The art is beautifully simplified down to its most essential elements, the character expressions are great, Hergé absolutely deserves his reputation as a master. Very excellent page where Nestor tries not to drop a tray. Also loved Milou (definitely a better name than Snowy although i'm sure i prefer Calculus to Tournesol) in the helmet. In some ways feels like a bit of a filler volume because of the slightly mundane setting and that lack of resolution. Also they seem to live in a world where women don't exist? I exaggerate but there are very very few female characters in this story
