More like 3.5 ★.
It is a fun book. There are some parts that a bit more boring to read but there are not many of them..
I enjoyed it a lot.

I think I would have loved this as a kid or teenager. The humor is a little younger than I, but I still find it to be an entertaining book to meander through while watching the show for the 1,000th time. I've been a Simpsons fan since the 2nd season, so the drawings in this make me think of that era, before they started making every episode digitally.

Is this a shameless cash grab artifact from the darkest days of the relentless Simpsons merchandising blitz? Yes. Do I still love it as much as I did when I was 9? Also yes. (Am I using it to shamelessly pad out my very far behind reading goal? Also also yes)
