Felt like a slog at a certain point! Appreciated her points about how branding has replaced production as the primary corporate value, the issues with exportation zones overseas, the lack of workers protections, etc. Part of the slog is that it's ofc old now and the case studies aren't always relevant anymore. Good things to say, but I was keen to move on!

Very dense. The edition wasn't the best with a tiny font.

Coming to No Logo for the first time in 2024 definitely lessens the impact; making the book more of a historical look at the state of branding and multinational exploitation pre-2000 than the clarion call for change it seems to have been at publication.
It is still an interesting and worthwhile read though and provides context for how we got to where we are now with zero hour contracts, the gig economy and continued exploitation away from public eyes.
