I liked this book…but I wasn’t satisfied with the ending and it was frustrating. I read this in one night because I wanted to see what happened between Nell and Van. It was frustrating all the back and forth because you just want them to be together ALREADY! I did like the characters and thought everything they went through was realistic and how it all shook out was understandable.

Paige Toon is my literary Shonda Rhimes...

Oh good lord my heart.

The crying started around hour 5 and didn’t really stop…
This book is told in 5 year chunks until the characters are near 40. For someone who exclusively reads HEA Romances, not just books with romantic themes, this book fit my criteria in a way that absolutely gutted me.

I’ve always thought most people have a “Big Fish” story about the one that got away…This book is all over that vibe x100
