This is not the type of book I’d normally pick, but the Audible version is narrated by someone I knew in college. The book is very well-written, with excellent pacing, character development and plot development. All that said, it isn’t a book that I liked. However I can recognize a good book even if I don’t care for it.

The author said this was probably her favourite book of the series. I think I’m her for now. Who knows the future?
Also, I need to read the next book as soon as possible!
