Reading Patrick's autobiography and been a fan of his from Dirty Dancing now makes we want to watch all his movies. The life he had with his wife is an inspiration to all. I have fallen in love with him all over again. RIP Patrick Swayze

An interesting look at Patrick’s life in his own words. There was a bit of repetition and the back and forth in the structure was jarring but that’s purely what affected the rating

I just really liked it. I feel a weird connection to Swayze, he reminds me of my dad. I enjoyed reading about his life and his marriage.

I loved this book! I wasn't sure how good it was going to be when I started it, but I couldn't put it down! I read it in 2 days, which is pretty good for me considering how busy I have been lately. I loved reading about Patrick's life though, and am sad that he died... It was a very good book and I loved every page of it!

pretty good. not the best written book i've ever read, but it's a memoir. patrick swayze was not an author. he was just a good guy.
liked all the cowboy references. i like cowboys!!! didn't know ponyboy was a cowboy and that's the kind of fact i came to this book for, that and the fact that darrel shaynne curtis is a formally trained ballet dancer. good stuff.

This was very well written and contained a lot of cute, personal information. I love Dirty Dancing; it is my favorite movie every and it was amazing to hear about it from the star. I love how much they loved each other and how even during the hard times they didn't give up on each other. It was inspirational.

This book is not as horribly written as I expected. It moved really quickly for me and I enjoyed it until he hit the Dirty Dancing years where he became too full of himself and started making excuses for bad behavior. Of course, I feel bad saying all that since the man has passed away but I cannot recommend this book.
