Another heart-warming middle-grade family story I look forward to sharing with my own children someday! The three children in this family—Bobby (Roberta), Phyllis (Phyl), and Peter—are a delightful, clever trio, and I deeply admired the way they all tucked in together to improve their lot when things became hard for their family. And such a gift it is to be able to bring people together in a community to help meet a need! These children did just that, and it's so encouraging to see all the good that came from it!

This is a classic story of three children who move from a big city to a small country town with their mother after their father is mysteriously taken away in the night. It does have many old-fashioned ideas about the strength of the sexes and how life should be lived.

This book is really good. The story is about three children who were leading very comfortable lives.Suddenly their father disappears and they(the children and their mother)move to a smaller residence. The story follows the adventures of the three children.
Overall,it is worth a read.
