I am absolutely shattered, but in the best way. An exquisite collection of poetry, focusing on childhood trauma of being hospitalized with a disability, and struggles with IVF later in life. I particularly admired the recurring poems metaphorizing the changes in body through descriptions of a house. Raw and very brave.

This is a collection of poetry and other short texts in paragraph format (could still be considered poems I suspect. I don't have much experience with this genre).
The writing is lyrical and haunting, much relating to the author's experience as a disabled person and her struggles with IVF. Some of it went over my head though but I still liked my experience with the collection.

Her second collection of poetry. I haven’t read her first one and am not a huge poetry fan in general, but I like the authour and her YouTube page so I wanted to give this a shot. 63 pages total and covering themes of disability. My fave poems were anatomy of the sea, alopecia, and when I revisit this room I want to leave again (last one is quite devastating). After every other poem, she inserts some of her childhood doctor notes. It’s an interesting transition. Both her as a sick child and an adult going through IVF.
