I‘ve been putting off reading this last volume for a month now, because i just didn’t want to finish this series. I love everything about this story and these characters so much, and i’m so so so satisfied with the ending, i couldn’t have hoped for anything better! It’s the first manga i read, but i somehow feel nothing will come close to the feelings Furuba gave me.
Definitely a story worth reading, whether you’re a fan of manga or want to get into it but don’t know how. It’s a very cute and fun story with cute and funny characters and cute relationships. Basically cuteness overload!
So please give Fruits Basket a try if you haven’t already!

Trigger Warning for Death of a Parent
This wrapped up in the most perfect way possible and I absolutely adored it! When I went into this final volume, I hoped it would end well and it wrapped up so beautifully that I am so happy to have read this. This has become one of my favorite manga series of all time as it was such a rollercoaster ride but so worth it in the end. I loved getting to read this and enjoy the story to its very end. The extra bonus content was fun and it really allowed the reader to see the interactions and experiences the fans had with this series. I absolutely adored this manga and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a manga that is fun but does also have a huge emotional impact.

This is my all-time favorite manga series. And possibly just one of my favorite stories, period. This series has an emotional depth and complexity that is simply stunning and will leave you reeling. Fruits Basket not only introduced me to manga and anime officially, but it also encouraged me and helped keep me going with its realistic emotional struggles and beautifully done web of relationships. I highly recommend it and will always treasure it deep in my heart.
