I enjoyed the first book but this one felt so rushed. I struggled to immerse myself properly throughout the scenes because it would end as quick it as it came. The ending was the cherry on top for me. It was also rushed and incredibly lacking.

Fiona’s murder mystery didn’t even get a proper investigation and it seemed like the author just made it up on the spot. The “battle” if you could even call it that was the shortest thing I ever read. It seems like the characters have no weaknesses and only strengths. Gives too much of a ‘mary-sue’ vibe.

I’m not sure whether I’ll read the third book or not. Trying to decide whether it’s a waste of my time.

This book was just ok for me. I think one of the contributing factors was that all the characters seemed to lose any personality. They all seemed the same?

There was nothing wrong with the storyline itself… I think I just wasn’t feeling invested in the characters.
