Excellent juvenile mystery series set in 1600s London. This is the second book in the series and is quite timely since it is set during an outbreak of the plague with a purported cure. While a children's series I highly recommend this.

The ending was great. Made me warm and fuzzy inside. Also, I TOTALLY SHIP TOM AND CHRISTOPHER. Tomstopher. I dig it.

I just love this series. It is a great pick for readers who want to read something complex but not quite ready for Young Adult. Kevin Sands has done it again! I could not guess all the details to this mystery. Christopher, Tom, and Sally had me hooked the entire time. I laughed at them, feared for them, and felt for them. I couldn’t ask for more from a book. This book is also well researched! You guys...just read this series!

most of my good reviews are epic fantasy books. while this is not an epic fantasy, this is awesome in a different way. It is full of clues, riddles, and mysteries. that along with the interesting time period and situation make for an amazing book! even if it is children's literature.
