A modern memoir of the life of a hedonist. Whatever your feelings of sex and relationships might be, Millet offers you some food for thought on how and why one pursues pleasure in its many forms. Definitely not for the faint of heart or the prudish.

I was unsure weather or not to give it 3 or 4 stars. She is very open about the things she has done and accepts all her actions. I do not think she regrets any of it, but I think that she is a different person today because of it. I am shocked that she is not dead, but more intrigued that she was so open and honest. Because of that I gave it 4 stars.

Alsof je een jaarverslag van PriceWaterhouseCoopers leest. Maar dan over nummertjes in plaats van cijfertjes.

I was hoping for something more along the lines of Delta of Venus, but since this is a memoir, it's a little more gritty and less dreamy or hazy. For the most part, it's fairly amazing/fascinating - there's a moment when she's just in a van and men are lining up to have sex with her. Ridiculous. After awhile, it kind of got to be overkill, and I had to struggle to finish it, but it's a fun read when you're in the mood to be rather naughty. Although I'd recommend Delta of Venus for that purpose first.

Sex deconstructed as a piece of art. A bizarrely straight account of an extreme personality.

Horrible. No redeeming features, as far as I could see.

I'm very sex-positive, but the first part is just brief descriptions of her sexual interactions with different people. I'll get back to it but I have to be in the right mood.
