You ever have a friend with issues get into a relationship you know they're not mentally prepared for? And all the things they tell you are kinda cringe? Yeah that's how it felt to read this book.

This book is all the feels that one looks for in a romance. It is a rollercoaster of devastating and sweet at the same time. The ending did feel rushed to me but not in a way that the story didn’t work out, but just that you wanted more. A little more detail and a little more time. It was good though.

I have never really been into the rockstar/ backup dancer romance, but this book made me rethink my opinions. The fact that Nora and Nash met and fell for each other organically, despite the circumstances they were meant to meet and fall in love under, made me believe in their love that much more. To me, this was one of the most believable, organic ways for a couple to fall in love in a romance book. I loved getting to see Nash open up slowly and Nora experiencing what made Nash first fall in love with performing. I truly just love their love and have no other way to describe my love for this book!

Founded on Goodbye is a gem!

Founded On Goodbye captivated me from the very first page to the last. Not your typical rock star romance, this one seemed doomed from the start when dancer Nora is hired to literally break pop star Nash’s heart. I expected angst and I got it!

This book delivers on it all—the chemistry, the drama, the emotion. It’s a “rain show” of a romance, that’s for sure!

I have been wanting to read this book for a while and now was finally the right time for me to read it. I have been in a mood lately where all I want to read is super angsty books, so this book was perfect for the job. I am so glad I finally decided to read this book because this was just a wonderful reading experience for me.

I just loved the plot in this one. It made me so emotional, and I cried so many times while reading this book. Which is something that I always enjoy when I read a book, so I pretty much had a wonderful time reading this book. I was so invested in the plot, and I just wanted to keep reading the book to see what would happen next.

I really enjoy books about rockstars, but I really enjoyed how it was done in this book. I had a very good time just reading all about Nash’s life and him just doing his thing, it was super interesting to read.

I really loved the romance in this one. I know that it happened under false premises, but I also love reading about that in books and I love seeing how the couple will act after the false premise is revealed and I just loved it in this book. Everything was just satisfying to me, and I really enjoyed the relationship progression in this book. I loved Nash and Nora as characters, and I just adored them as a couple so much. They had such a good chemistry and such a strong want to be together and I adored it. They were such a good couple and I was so happy to read about their interactions with each other.

This was such a wonderful read and I adored reading it.

I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Who knew I was into bad boy musician romances? Honestly this was just so fun and different from what I generally gravitate towards in romance and I really liked it.

It was surprisingly well written too, with little grammatical errors or cliches thrown in the mix. I usually find these types of books have very amateur writing styles with repetitive sentences and conflicts, but this was definitely not at all like that. Very impressed.

Nora and Nash had good chemistry and the romance was woven in really nicely. Plus the steamy scenes were pretty damn good too. I liked the friendship that was built first and the banter they had. Made their love story very believable. Was the end a little cheesy? Yeah, but I suppose this is a romance after all.

Solid 3.5 stars.

Rockstar perfection! Kat Singleton is a new to me author, and this book spoke to my soul. The love story, heartbreak, and devastating past written by Kat are all the ingredients for this magical story.

Nora and Nash's story seems pretty straightforward from the very beginning, but there are so many layers peeled back as the pages turn that it becomes a masterpiece in storytelling.

I will be checking out more books by this.
