The title is exactly how I felt about this book. I loved the characterisation of Krystina and Loukas. The way they grow up together and their daily interactions. Their ability to help each other in different situations shows how strong their friendship is. Their love/hate relationship grows and it’s fun to read.
Both families are also close so it helps to build the storyline around them. The book is laid out in mini conversations and even though the timeline jumps from past n present, it is well recorded to avoid confusion.
