Marty is a bra burning feminist from 1967 who gets sucked into a wormhole and hurled through time and dimensions. When she gets out of the wormhole 10 Yessat years (100 human years) have passed, she has aged 10 years and is no longer on earth. She winds up on a planet of Amazonian type women where she trains with them to become a warrior and adopts the name Mari. Kil finds her here and claims her for his bound woman but she isn't going to make life easy for a warrior too dense to recognize his own Sacred Mate. This was a great story and Marty was just the type of person someone like Kil needed.

The story of Kil and Marti was a bit better than the previous book. This story seemed to include a lot more side stories too which livened it up a bit. I think I thought that Kil would be a bit different than the others based on his previous appearances but he was pretty similar to the others. There was a little more storyline and world building here which was good plus I liked Marti as a character. I liked that she was from the sixties and was more of a feminist (if it's at all possible to be one in these books), yet she embraced everything in an openminded way by the end.
