In my opinion, much better than the first book in this series. Although, book one, Telling Lies, was also engaging and interesting. Keeping Secrets add an extra layer of including a life lesson towards the end. Keeping Secrets also leaves you wanting to know what happens next. Although there is an ongoing secondary/off the books investigation, Telling Lies could be seen as more of a stand alone book with no enticing storylines that are hanging.
