I liked this book, but it took me some time to get back into the story. I recommend to read them in order and in one go, since it’s one story in three books.

I loved this whole series. It is so different than anything else. I love R.L Clauder and everything she writes but she really finished this series amazingly. I love how Alexandra was able to find herself and believe in her hope. She was able to overcome her internal battles to be the curse she was meant to be. I love her relationship with her guys and the relationship she was able to foster with Alma and Zurie as well. I just really enjoyed this book.

Monsters Above is the third and FINAL book in R.L. Caulder’s The Creatures We Crave series and I am equal parts ecstatic that Alexandra and her guys got the best ending ever and devastated that I now have to say goodbye to them!

Book 3 made me laugh, cry, get angry and yet feel so warm and content inside once I finished. If you haven’t read this series yet I recommend that you do! Especially if you love, mythology, pnr, why choose, spice, and FMC’s who find their inner strength

This was an ending to end all endings! The shared world of DIA and it's 4 FMC's is just brilliantly constructed but Alexandra holds a special place in my heart. As she faces this journey into a realm who's inhabitants are definitely out to get her, she and her monstrous men become closer, all while facing their own personal trials. With cameos from Ama and her guys, this book/series is complete and left my heart happy. I cannot recommend this book/series/world enough

This is the last book in Alexandra's.
We finally met Alora's parents and oh my I really love them ( as someone who haven't read Monarch of hell's before alexandra's story its really really really giving me the urge to read Ama's books.
After most of the books in DIA we are now headed to Divinus !!
Training is on the list for Alexandra and her mates.
We have a panel of new intersting characters like Zurie and her mates and while I would have loved to seem them more, I really enjoyed the dynamic between Ariel and Alexandra.
I'd say this book was a bit less spicy than the previous one ( in my opinion),  I really enjoyed reading the convos between Alexandra, Elwyn, Kylo and Lucien.
I'd have liked if we saw a bit more of DIA but given where the plot taked us I understand why we didn't have more.
I am crossing my fingers to get a DIA girls novella reunion where we could see Deva, Alora, Alina,Beck and Alexandra hanging out and chilling together.

“We may not be blood, but I promise you the way our family loves and protects each other is thicker than blood, and you have a spot in it with us.”

sigh. so many problems that i have with this series could’ve been fixed by just making these books longer. or adding a book 4 :/ everything just felt so quick, flat, and surface level. there’s SOOO MUCH HERE TOO! i wanted alexandra’s connection with alora and her family expanded upon, i wanted them to explore her powers and just go more in depth into how she “created” her men,  the overall plot with pandora should’ve been dragged out a lot more. ugh :( i’m so upset. i like these characters a lot, i like this author a lot.. but she fr dropped the ball here. i cant believe the person who wrote alina’s books wrote these books too 😣
the found family aspect of this trilogy was so special, i loved it. i wanted more of it. not just little bits and offhand comments.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with Alex’s journey coming to an end. I can honestly say that it was pure perfection. Hope is eternal and Alex showed us exactly what that meant. I enjoyed all the plot of this book and the spice. While I’m sad to be finished with Alex and her men I truly enjoyed their ending.
