So, the innocent girl in trouble (in this case, Sierra, escaping her creepy boyfriend's horror camp-out) accidentally ending up at a BDSM club (the titular Wicked Sanctuary), and finding true love with the Dom running the place (in this book, sensitive yet commanding Max Preston) is also the plot of at least two other BDSM romance novels that I've read. That doesn't mean that it's not good. Tempt actually tries to be somewhat educational in its description of the orientation process for new club members, and that's not as dry as it sounds like it might be. Max and Sierra have a lot of chemistry and I really like their relationship. What I don't like it how Sierra is repeatedly grabbed by creepy men, usually for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And her evil ex is just a cliche. However, the book is still a really great read and I am looking forward to additional Wicked Sanctuary novels.

Great characters & a pretty good book. I finished in one day. It seemed a little rushed but the author kept the story going and kept me reading. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

This book gets 2.75 stars.

I liked the beginning of the book but then it felt dragging, to anoint were I had to force myself to finish it, and to be honest I ended up skimming it.

The ML asks the FL these specific questions from which he concludes she is a submissive. For some reason she is shocked by this, for someone who has read and experimented with BDSM a little, it should have been pretty clear why her answers imply she is a submissive.

There is also this sudden period of self-consciousness that appeared when the ex showed up for like 5mins, and it read as out of character for me. The FL was willing to happily go to a BDSM club where she is dressed half- naked , but the ex wife turning up causes her to run with the ML giving no indication of any interest to the ex.

Therefore, sadly this book was not for me.

Sierra is on a camping trip with her boyfriend when she realizes it is a themed camping trip. The theme is scary and she IS NOT into that. So when she up and leaves the camp sight with no phone and on foot, she needs to find a way home.
Sierra makes it to a driveway and knocks on the door. A gorgeous specimen of a man answers the door wearing only pants. Max immediately becomes concerned for this strangers welfare. They are after all out in the middle of the woods and it has been raining. Max sees to her drying off and makes sure she gets home but he can’t let her escape his life completely. Max and Sierra embark on a romance, both working out their own issues along they way.
Opinion
This book is BDSM but not at all overly graphic. The issues that Sierra has make it hard for me to see her liking the lifestyle, but I suppose it is possible. I have issues with things that went astray at the club. I would think that an established club would not have that many issues so close together.
On the plus side, I really enjoyed the story. The romance between the two MCs was endearing and the two complement each other well.
There is definitely room for more books with her two best friends and his two best friends. Perhaps there are more possible with some other minor characters.
I do look forward to reading more in this series. Overall, the book was an enjoyable, quick read.

I enjoyed this book. The characters were well thought out, had a lot of chemistry with each other and were believable. The plot moved quickly and there was a lot of sizzling going on. I will read more books from this author in the future.

This is only my second novel by this author. I enjoyed Tempt thoroughly.

I cannot blame Sierra for not wanting to go to a horror camp outing. That would not be fun for me either. Choosing to walk away, not too smart. And thank goodness for power outages that cause gates to be open.

I love the scene where Max and Sierra meet. I enjoyed the developing relationship between the two main characters, and can't wait to visit with them again in Entice.

The reader gets a fantastic introduction to discovering a private kink club. Great Job Ms. Tuhart!

I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
