Wish there was more dialogue and relationship development between Dima and Seb because it did feel rushed and like a lot was missing, but I read it in one day. Quick, easy read. And really solid for the authors first book, excited for the progression of this family.

I DID NOT FANCY THE BLOOD PLAY but in the authors defense I was warned so I can give credit where it’s due. I will tell you I enjoyed this. The primal way in which Dima was OBSESSED with Seb got me all kinds of hot.

Seb is stuck in a loveless relationship, resigned to this as his life until the moment he sees Dima. He is entranced, this arrogant ass is cocky and believes he can have Seb with just a few demands… but damn if Seb doesn’t look at him with confusion and curiosity… There’s a problem though, Seb is straight …. Right? The more determined Seb is to resist, the more determined Dima is to have him. A dangerous game of cat and mouse ensues and it’s the most exciting thing that’s happened to Seb in a long time. Just one kiss…. That’s all it takes for Dima to claim him and for Seb to submit.

Dima has power, money and sadistic streak. There isn’t much in this world that he wants but doesn’t have, until he lays eyes on a delicious bartender by the name of Seb. Seb is straight or at least that’s what he says but Dima can see the desire in his eyes, Seb has a fiancée but that just a minor inconvenience, one that Dima is determined to rectify… soon. Seb is full of determination and sass which only fuels his obsession more. Once he gets his man someone has the audacity to try and take him away… no one harms his love, no one touches his man and no one threatens his family and lives. Dima will burn the world to the ground to protect what’s his….. and Seb is his.

This story is full of passion and feral instincts. To watch the two main characters fall in love was delicious, I couldn’t put this book down. I love the unapologetic possessive side of Dima and the submissive side of Seb.
